The Elijah-Alavi Foundation has faced some challenging times in obtaining funding for the organization to continue their mission & vision. We are truly grateful for all our sponsors and supporters and advocates that saw and continue to help see our mission through but we know this to be true that we will always continue Onward and Upward no matter the challenges we face. If we were to discuss the work that we do, we understand that the public health and safety benefits here are inestimable:
For children with food allergies and asthma, it delivers safety and security. For parents, it delivers the comfort of knowing their children are properly taken care of and safe. For childcare staff and businesses, it delivers the confidence and competence they need to meet their fiduciary responsibilities. It all adds up for us to make sure we are running an impeccable business: With being committed to the health and well-being of children at risk and putting us in the light of a “giving provider” on top of the good work we do already.
To influence key stakeholders with whom we want to develop good relationships – parents, families, businesses, and the daycares - positioning ourselves and others as advocates in enacting legislation through policy-making to protect those in the communities know us to be.
The inroads, we want to make in building a leading-edge position as a premier foundation when we are talking to local or national officials, communities, daycare centers, schools, and parents, on what we do as an organization will be part of the discussion during all engagements. We want to be the think-outside-the-box organization where we don't see ourselves as just a food allergy and asthma organization but much more of an organization that works toward providing equitable resources to underserved communities and aid in advising and providing health promotion as well as health engagement with healthcare providers & educators.
